Marcus Theatres is a company who specializes in creating movie theatres in several different cities. As a company, they focus on bringing people together through the magic of the big screen. For this project, they wanted to create an annual report that could be designed for easy reading with a clean, minimalist aesthetic.
The main challenge in this project was to condense the report its self. I started with over 160 pages of reports and condensed it down to just 20. I wanted to highlight the most important aspects of the company and what they do. The color scheme was inspired by the classic theatre look but with an updated, modernized identity. I stuck with a monochromatic color palette and utilizes white space to create a calming feeling for the viewer.
